ZENER BARRIERS
The intrinsic safety barriers of the MTL7700 range limit the circuit energy to a safe level by restricting the voltage, current and power available. They are DIN-Rail mounted and are available in active and non-active models. MTL7700 active / electronically protected barriers have built-in overvolt protection and can be used with unregulated power supplies.
Applications: transmitters, switches, solenoids, 2- or 3-Wire RTDs, gas detectors, strain-gauge bridges, vibration probes, thermocouples, switch inputs, etc.
